Since 1948, JFS has provided holistic care, comfort, and assistance to our community. From refugee resettlement to adoption services, mental health services to emergency assistance, JFS has worked with our community to help individuals and families enhance and strengthen their lives. To celebrate all that our community has accomplished, JFS hosted a Platinum Jubilee celebration at The Ritz-Carlton on June 25th, 2023. This brunch gala was a gathering of friends, supporters, community stakeholders, and past presidents. Councilmember Jennifer Van Vrancken of Jefferson Parish and Councilmember Joseph Giarrusso, II of Orleans Parish both read proclamations declaring June 25th to be Jewish Family Service Day in both Jefferson and Orleans Parishes.
