Rowan Quarterman, MS (they/them) is a provisionally licensed professional counselor specializing in trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and narrative therapy practices. They work with individuals and relationships, with particular focus on LGBTQ+ communities, ethical non-monogamy, and identity exploration. Rowan’s work is grounded in relational care and a commitment to affirming clients’ unique stories and strengths.
This workshop will provide an introduction to terms, structures, and ethical considerations when working with non-traditional relationship structures. The workshop is meant to build competency and confidence in working with individuals or relationships navigating non-monogamy.

Join us to explore the foundational principles of Eriksonian clinical hypnotherapy and its modern-day relevance in a range of therapeutic contexts. Through lecture and experiential learning, participants will learn how to ethically and effectively integrate imagination, play, and basic hypnotic language to facilitate therapeutic change and promote client self-efficacy.

In this workshop, Polyvagal Theory will be discussed relative to other counseling theories in the emergence of somatic interventions. Developmental stages and other assessment tools will be discussed relative to tailoring interventions. The therapeutic relationship and rapport will be emphasized as the foundation for building security and efficacy for somatic interventions.
