Veronica Mollere, LCSW-BACS is the founder of Well Psychotherapy in New Orleans, LA. She holds an advanced certificate in the treatment of complex trauma and dissociative disorders from the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation, and is Level 1 trained in Clinical Hypnotherapy through the American Society of Clinical Hypnotherapy. As the parent of two precocious kids, she believes in the power of wonder, play, and curiosity to create healing and harmony.
In this workshop, Polyvagal Theory will be discussed relative to other counseling theories in the emergence of somatic interventions. Developmental stages and other assessment tools will be discussed relative to tailoring interventions. The therapeutic relationship and rapport will be emphasized as the foundation for building security and efficacy for somatic interventions.
