Each year, Jewish Family Service strives to make Passover meaningful by reaching as many individuals and families as possible through its Bruce Levy Memorial Passover Food Basket Distribution program. Now in its 35th year, this program helps hundreds of older adults and families in our community who are financially in need by providing gift bags and food baskets filled with traditional food and ritual items for the holiday. Dozens of staff, board members and volunteers of all ages come together to fill baskets by hand, then spread out making door-to-door deliveries across the region.
As proud members of our Jewish community, JFS has made it a priority to ensure that everyone has the ability to participate in this important holiday. We appreciate your support to include everyone at the Seder table.
We appreciate any contribution of your time, but please consider delivering. Typically you will be asked to deliver 3-4 boxes in one zip code, and it should not take more than 1.5-2 hours. This is a wonderful project to include your children in! The recipients are SO appreciative.

We are still accepting contributions! This project is entirely funded by donations from generous people like you. It costs $100 to fill a Passover basket for two people. Contributions of any amount are welcomed. Click here to make a donation.
